Pimping out snack foods has become a culinary pass time on both sides of the pond. The idea is to take your favorite snack food such as a Cadbury’s Creme Egg and supersize it until it has similar dimensions to a rugby ball or an English contry table. These culinary Dr. Frankenstein’s have taken to competing with each other via the social media websites, seeing who can make the biggest, and tastiest, as well as the most realistic looking snack.
 

1. Cadbury’s Creme Egg

To make a pimp sized Cadbury’s Creme Egg, one needs the following ingredients, 1.5 kg of Cadbury milk chocolate, 3 pounds of granulated sugar, two 140 gram bottles of liquid glucose, as well as red and yellow food coloring, not to mention a giant plastic egg mold, which can, of course, be purchased on the Internet. As the saying goes, everything is bigger in America, snack foods are no exception. Here is a gentleman that is credited with creating the largest kit-kat bar known to man. This is actual a fusion between a Snickers and Kit Kat (known as the big cat). All the same enthusiasm and attention to detail as the manufacturers of the smaller counterparts went into the biggger version. There is enough chocolate in one of these desserts to put five people into a diabetic coma.
